Development Progression 1


Development has been going for a few weeks at this point. The following features have been implemented at this point:

  • Physics based player movement
  • The primary "Inverse" mechanic
  • Level selection, main menu, pausing, and a level end screen, displaying your time
  • In-game timer that functions in the pause and end level screens
  • Dynamic player sprite
  • Platform opacity changing based on whether the player is inversed or not
  • A player trail

Current features being worked on in the near future:

  • Perfecting the physics conditions
  • Dynamic background imagery
  • High quality ground sprites
  • Highest scores saving, to be shown in the level select menu and "scores" screen, accessible from the main menu.

Pause Menu
The player and timer unmoving, as the game is evidently paused.
Level Completion
The screen that appears when the player completes the level being shown, allowing the player to view their time and retry or return to a menu
